Welcome to Hirance ("Platform"), India's swipe-based direct hiring platform. This Privacy Policy governs your use of our website (https://launch.hirance.com), our candidate mobile application on Google Play, the Hirance Employer Portal (employer.hirance.com), and official offline events such as the Hirance Launch Event & Speed Job Championship in Lucknow.
By downloading our application, accessing our web platforms, registering for launch events, or providing any personal information, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consented to the data practices described herein.

We collect personal information necessary to deliver transparent, rapid recruitment and event ticketing services:
A. Job Seekers & Candidates (Mobile App)
- Basic Identity: Full name, phone number, email address, profile picture.
- Professional Profile: Educational qualifications, work experience, key skills, resume/CV uploads, current and expected compensation, preferred job locations, and shift preferences.
- App Usage & Interactions: Swipe actions (likes, skips), job applications, direct in-app chat communications with prospective employers, and AI match query inputs.
B. Employers, Recruiters & Hiring Managers
- Organizational Credentials: Company name, registered business address, GSTIN / CIN, industry category, and company size.
- Recruiter Representative Data: Full name, official corporate email address, contact phone number, and designation.
- Job Postings: Job title, descriptions, required qualifications, salary ranges, location requirements, and candidate interaction notes.
C. Event & Championship Participants (Hirance Launch)
- Registration Details: Name, contact number, work email, company name, designation, city, and selected participation track (Product Launch, Speed Job Championship, or Both).
- Transactional Data: Razorpay payment order ID, payment receipt identifiers, transaction timestamps, and payment status (paid, failed, pending). Note: We never store debit/credit card numbers or CVV codes.
D. Device & Technical Analytics
- IP address, device hardware model, operating system version, browser type, network provider, crash logs, and session activity timestamps.
3. Legal Basis & Consent Under DPDP Act, 2023
In compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, we process personal data under the following legal bases:

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to data brokers or advertising networks. We only share information in the following limited situations:
- Between Matched Parties: When a candidate swipes right or applies, their profile is shared with the verified employer. When an employer initiates contact, their verified company profile is displayed to the candidate.
- Payment Aggregators (Razorpay): Transaction details are shared securely with Razorpay to process event tickets and subscription invoices in compliance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) protocols.
- Cloud Infrastructure & SMS/Email Service Providers: Verified enterprise infrastructure vendors (hosting, transactional SMS, WhatsApp notifications) under strict non-disclosure obligations.
- Legal Mandates: When required by Indian statutory authorities, court summons, or law enforcement agencies under the Information Technology Act.
6. Payment Security & Financial Data
For our Launch Event tickets, championship fees, and employer subscriptions, payments are collected through Razorpay Payment Gateway.
PCI-DSS Compliant Processing
Hirance does not collect, record, or store debit/credit card numbers, UPI PINs, or net-banking credentials on our servers. All sensitive financial transactions occur within Razorpay's encrypted, PCI-DSS Level 1 certified checkout environment.7. Data Storage & Retention
All personal data is securely stored within cloud servers hosted in India, in accordance with applicable data localization mandates.
We retain your data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you our services. If you delete your account or withdraw consent, your personal data is purged or irreversibly anonymized within 30 days, except where retention is required by Indian law (e.g., financial audit records retained for 7 years).
