Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Hirance Private Limited ("Hirance"), governing your access to our applications, recruitment matching services, event registrations, and the Speed Job Championship.
Important Highlights at a Glance
Championship Integrity: Live 5-minute contest. Automated bots or non-genuine job postings lead to immediate disqualification.
Event Tickets & Fees: Payments via Razorpay in INR. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Hirance.
Zero Job Fee: Employers are strictly prohibited from demanding application or recruitment fees from job seekers.
Indian Jurisdiction: Disputes are governed exclusively by the laws of India and Lucknow courts.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Hirance website (https://launch.hirance.com), the Hirance mobile application for candidates, the Employer Dashboard (employer.hirance.com), or by registering for any Hirance organized event, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company, startup, or recruiting consultancy, you represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to bind that entity to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you must refrain from accessing the Platform.
2. Eligibility & Account Registration
- Minimum Age: You must be at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into binding contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
- Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete credentials when registering for accounts or purchasing event tickets.
- Account Confidentiality: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and OTP verifications. Any action performed through your account is deemed performed by you.
3. Candidate Code of Conduct
Job seekers utilizing the Hirance mobile application agree to:
- Accurately disclose their educational qualifications, work experience, and verified contact details.
- Utilize the swipe matchmaking feature responsibly without exploiting automated clickers or scripts.
- Engage professionally in direct chats with employers, avoiding any abusive, obscene, or fraudulent communication.
- Acknowledge that swiping right on an opening expresses interest and grants the employer permission to review your application profile.
4. Employer & Recruiter Rules
Organizations, HR representatives, and talent acquisition professionals posting vacancies on Hirance must abide by strict workplace ethics:
- Postings must reflect legitimate, currently open positions with clear role descriptions and truthful compensation terms.
- No discriminatory job criteria based on caste, religion, gender, or disability, except where permissible by bona fide occupational qualifications under Indian law.
- Candidate data accessed through Hirance may only be used for recruiting purposes and must not be exported to third-party marketing databases.
5. Speed Job Post Championship Rules (Lucknow 2026)
The Speed Job Post Championship is an official competitive hiring event hosted by Hirance on 20th September 2026 in Lucknow. All participants agree to the following competition regulations:
Format & 5-Minute Window
Contestants will have exactly 5 minutes during the live session to publish the maximum number of verified job openings on the Hirance employer test dashboard.
Job Validity Criteria
Only authentic, fully formed job listings with valid job titles, functional job descriptions, realistic compensation, and genuine criteria qualify for scoring. Gibberish entries, placeholder text (e.g. "asdf"), or duplicates will be rejected by our audit jury.
Anti-Cheating & Bot Prohibition
The use of browser automation scripts, autofill bots, browser extensions, or automated macros is strictly prohibited. Any contestant detected using automation will be disqualified immediately with no refund of registration fees.
Prize Pool & Tax Deductions (TDS)
The prize pool consists of: 1st Prize: ₹25,000 Cash + Trophy; 2nd Prize: ₹15,000 Cash + Trophy; 3rd Prize: ₹10,000 Cash + Trophy; plus 1-year free Hirance premium memberships. In accordance with Section 194B/194BA of the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961, applicable Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) will be withheld from cash prizes, and winners must provide valid PAN details to claim prizes.
Jury Decision
The evaluation and count validated by the Hirance Technical Jury is final and binding. No external appeals or disputes regarding live timing will be entertained.
6. Fees, Payments & Cancellation / Refund Policy
Event tickets, attendee registrations, and employer subscription packages are priced in Indian Rupees (INR) and processed via authorized payment aggregators (e.g., Razorpay).
Cancellation & Refund Terms:
- Non-Refundable Passes: Registrations for the Hirance Launch Event and Speed Job Championship are non-refundable once confirmed, except in the event of total cancellation of the event by Hirance.
- Transfer of Pass: If you cannot attend, you may request a ticket transfer to another representative of your organization by writing to support@hirance.com or hello@hirance.com (or calling +91 9793780913) at least 72 hours before the event.
- Payment Failures & Reconciliations: In the event that your bank account is debited but the registration status displays pending or failed, the amount is usually reconciled within 48 hours. If unresolved, Razorpay's automated refund protocol will credit the funds back to your source account within 5–7 banking days.
- Organizer Rescheduling: In the event of rescheduling due to natural disasters, government directives, or unforeseen force majeure, your pass will remain valid for the rescheduled date.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All brand marks, logos, user interface designs, mobile software, matchmaking algorithms, event collateral, and proprietary speed job challenge mechanics are the sole intellectual property of Hirance Private Limited.
You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access our platform solely for personal job searches or bona fide corporate recruitment. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of any part of Hirance without explicit written consent.
8. Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
- Deploy web scrapers, crawlers, or automated scripts to harvest candidate resumes or employer listings.
- Post malicious payloads, viruses, phishing links, or unauthorized advertisements.
- Impersonate any person, executive, or brand, or misrepresent corporate affiliations.
- Circumvent rate limits, authentication barriers, or security mechanisms of the API.
- Engage in unprompted bulk spamming or harassment of other users.
9. Disclaimers & No Guarantee
The platform and event services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
No Employment Guarantee: Hirance serves as a technology platform connecting candidates and employers. We do not guarantee that job seekers will secure interviews or employment, nor do we guarantee that employers will fill all published positions.
Verification Disclaimer: While we enforce verification checks, Hirance does not endorse or warrant the character, credentials, or reliability of any candidate or the solvency and working environment of any hiring organization. Users must exercise normal professional due diligence.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Hirance Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees, or partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business opportunities, or reputational harm arising out of or related to your use of the platform or attendance at our launch events.
In no event shall Hirance's aggregate liability exceed the total fee paid by you for the specific service or event registration under dispute.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Hirance Private Limited, its affiliates, directors, and agents against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and legal costs arising from your violation of these Terms, non-compliance with applicable labour or data protection laws, or violation of any third-party rights.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the substantive laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Launch Event, or the Speed Job Championship shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent civil courts located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
